After my rest days I tracked the Loire river up towards Orleans, criss-crossing the bridges that connected the towns together.
I spent another night with a warmshowers host, David. He was a really nice guy, who made me some dinner and let me sleep in his lounge. In the morning he showed me to the train station.
I then used public transport to go directly north to reach Paris. Yes I know it’s cheating but it was necessary to rest and essential to get my vaccinations on time. Apologies.
Upon reaching Paris I got myself an AirBnB place to stay, much cheaper than a hotel or hostel! I acquired my vaccinations and became a tourist for a while. This was really nice and a good morale boost!
Similarly to UK the weather has been fantastic. A cool 25 degrees!
I will continue to rest here for a little while then move onto Germany to meet Ross and start the Danube river.
wonderfur trip. i like the eifel tower and bike picture. so classic.

Hi Antoine, go to your local GP or health centre. Tell them which countries you plan to go to and they will let you know what you need. Do this well in advance, some injections require 3 doses spread over 3-6 months. I’d you’re going over central and SE ASIA put about £300-400 aside for them all!
