The bicycle is a Thorn Nomad, a custom built expedition bicycle made in Bridgewater, Somerset, UK.

Internal hub gears, leather saddle and made from steel. Total weight = 20kg

My luggage consists of a small frame bag 2 ortlieb front roller panniers, 2 ortlieb rear panniers and a ortlieb rack pack.

The contents of these contain everything I need for the trip. Spares, tools, electronics, clothes, sleeping gear, toiletries/first aid, cooking equipment, food and my tent.
